For nearly two decades, I've owned and operated State Avenue Veterinary Clinic in Dickinson. I've spent years hiring employees, training future professionals, and navigating the rising cost of healthcare. The challenges North Dakota families face aren't abstract to me—they're part of my work every day. That's why I'm running: to bring practical solutions to workforce shortages, healthcare costs, and opportunities for the next generation.

My Priorities

Strong Workforce

Connecting education directly to careers through career and technical training, apprenticeships, and partnerships with local employers. Housing and childcare are workforce infrastructure too — people can't take a job they can't afford to live near or find care to support.

Healthcare costs are crushing Dickinson's small businesses and families. We need practical, North Dakota-built options—like expanding tax-free ICHRAs—that cut overhead for local business owners, protect independent pharmacies, and support stable staffing for our local healthcare workers.

Quality Education

Our economy depends on strong local K-12 schools and a fully accredited, fiscally sound Dickinson State University. I am committed to restoring stable oversight to DSU, protecting vital nursing and technical programs, and expanding regional SWCTE career training to keep our young families here.
